Under the instruction/guidance of the line managers provide general, clerical, administrative support to the school
To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and staff within the school
To undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone, face-to-face inquiries and signing in visitors.
To assist with pupil first aid and welfare, looking after sick pupils, liaising with parents, staff etc.
Assist with arrangements for school trips, events, enrichment clubs etc. and handle monetary matters.
Undertake typing, word processing, handling spreadsheets and other IT-based tasks.
Analyze and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required.
Support the work of the Principal, VP and Coordinators by answering email correspondence, producing various types of documents, arranging meetings and agendas and circulating information to appropriate persons.
Responsible for promoting the school positively and keeping the school prospectus up to date.
Design, create, develop and maintain a range of documents, information leaflets, certificates and letters.
Oversee and ensure an inventory of all school equipment is maintained.
Organize briefings, consultation and other events for parents, under the direction of the Principal/VP/Coordinators/Manager.
To deal with a range of queries and be a point of contact for parents, children, staff and visitors and project a strong customer-focused image.
Administering the `student lifecycle` from registration or admission to graduation or leaving.
Providing administrative support to an academic team of teachers/others.
Coordinating assessment processes.
Supervising staff.
Monitor pupil attendance and contact families where there is poor or irregular attendance, liaising with the Teachers/Academic team as required.
Respond to emergencies appropriately and inform relevant staff.
Organize briefings, workshops and other events for parents, under the direction of the VP/ Coordinators/Manager.
Maintain stocks and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required.
Undertake routine financial administration e.g. collect and record money field trips, clubs etc.
Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
To adhere to school health and safety policy including risk assessment and safety systems.

Participate in training opportunities and professional development as required.
