Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA-CC, Knowledge level, CMA (Inter), ITP
∎ Adequate knowledge in Income Tax, VAT and Company Affairs

Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a TAX & VAT Manager, your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, as well as optimizing tax strategies for the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tax-related tasks and financial management activities.
∎ Tax Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. This involves staying up-to-date with the latest tax changes and advising the company on how to implement necessary adjustments.
∎ VAT (Value Added Tax) Management: Oversee the management and reporting of Value Added Tax (VAT) for the company's products or services. This includes ensuring accurate VAT calculations, preparing and submitting VAT returns, and addressing any VAT-related issues.
∎ Tax Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies that aim to minimize tax liabilities while remaining compliant with the law. This may involve analyzing financial data, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and advising senior management on tax implications of business decisions.
∎ Customs, VAT & Tax Audits and Assessments: Coordinate and manage tax audits and assessments by tax authorities. Prepare and provide all necessary documentation, respond to inquiries, and represent the company during audits, if required.
∎ Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized tax records, financial documents, and reports. These records should be readily accessible for auditing purposes and to ensure smooth tax filings.
∎ Tax Research: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation, regulations, and practices. Conduct thorough research on complex tax matters to ensure the company's compliance and to offer expert advice when needed.
∎ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, accounting, legal, and other departments to gather necessary financial information, ensure accurate tax reporting, and align tax strategies with overall business goals.
∎ Tax Reporting: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulation.
∎ Tax Optimization: Continuously explore opportunities to optimize the company's tax position, taking advantage of incentives, credits, deductions, and exemptions that align with the company's business objectives.
∎ Tax Strategy Documentation: Develop and maintain tax policies and procedures, outlining the company's tax strategy and guidelines for all employees to follow.
∎ Liaising and maintaining: all tax related correspondences with respective regulatory authorities to obtain tax benefits. Maintain relation between tax consultant & company management about tax related issues. Assist to all accounts department for tax related issues. Prepare documents for tax appeal, hearing, or assessment purpose as per tax advisor requirement. Monitor deduction of tax at source and deposit them to the government treasury on time. Prepare Company Wise Vat Return. Monthly Vat Return Submit to Vat Office. Maintain Communication with Vat Office. Monitor & Assist to all Accounts Department for Vat related works Prepare proper documentation for return submission and obtain final assessment order and clearance certificate. RJSC return submission Schedule X & Form XII update. Company Winding Up Procedure. Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) permission & work permit related works. Trade License related works.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experienced in VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), VAT and Company Affairs in a Manufacturing Company.
∎ Have sound Knowledge of Communication Skill, Computer Skill, ERP Software
Salary: Negotiable
