Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is enhancing its Public Relations Department’s event management function to strengthen corporate communication and stakeholder engagement. The Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager, Events will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events that support organizational objectives and foster meaningful connections with internal and external audiences. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams and vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth event delivery while maintaining compliance with internal processes. The Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager will also oversee post-event evaluations to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design comprehensive event concepts, timelines, and project plans by aligning them with business objectives to ensure events effectively support organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.

  • Support the Public Relations function by organizing and executing events that address both internal and external business needs, enhancing corporate engagement and communication.

  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and event agencies transparently to secure quality services and optimize event budgets.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for relevant stakeholders by coordinating all aspects of event execution and ensuring adherence to the internal approval processes for smooth and compliant delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams at both the head office and regional levels to facilitate seamless planning, coordination, and execution of events.

  • Oversee event setup, on-site troubleshooting, and execution to ensure all activities are conducted professionally, on time, and in line with event objectives.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare detailed reports to assess event success, capture lessons learned, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
