∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

∎ Age 27 to 45 years
∎ Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of export-import policies, LC procedures, BGMEA & EPB rules.·
∎ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, commercial documentation software.
∎ Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Language Proficiency: Fluent in English & Bengali for effective communication with international buyers.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the export and import process, ensuring timely shipment and delivery of goods.
∎ Prepare and review export & import documents (LC, Proforma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, etc.).
∎ Communicate with buyers, suppliers, and freight forwarders for shipment arrangements.
∎ Ensure compliance with customs regulations, BGMEA, EPB, and other regulatory authorities.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact between production, marketing, and finance teams.
∎ Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendment, and payment settlements.
∎ Maintain strong communication with buying houses, third-party QC, and freight forwarders.
∎ Follow up with ports, C&F agents, and government offices for clearance issues.
∎ Ensure proper documentation for local and international trade transactions.
∎ Maintain updated records of export performance, HS codes, and duty structures.
∎ Monitor bond licenses, utilization declarations (UD), and other export-related certifications.
∎ Keep track of export incentives, drawbacks, and duty benefits as per government policies.
∎ Monitor costing, pricing, and commercial transactions to optimize profitability.
∎ Work closely with the accounts and finance department for bill settlements.
∎ Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting for commercial operations.
∎ Monitor transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations for timely delivery.
∎ Manage inventory levels for import materials and raw fabrics.
∎ Work with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of materials.
∎ Identify bottlenecks and risks in export-import processes and find solutions.
∎ Handle disputes with buyers, suppliers, or logistics providers effectively.
∎ Ensure compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on commercial activities.
∎ Maintain accurate records of sales, shipments, and financial transactions.
∎ Present data-driven insights to senior management for decision-making.
