∎ We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Accounts and Admin who will work directly with us. This is a full-time job where you will be working on managing all transactions, sending reports to the management, handling the taxation, asset management, ensuring payroll preparation and disbursement etc.
∎ Work hour: 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM
∎ Weekdays: Monday to Friday
∎ Type: Remotely (WFH) at the moment

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
∎ Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
∎ Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
∎ Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment.
∎ Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
∎ Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
∎ Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
∎ Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities.
∎ Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
∎ Advise management about issues such as resource utilisation, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
∎ Manage government incentives.
∎ Manage financial reviews twice a year. (Mid-year and year-end)
∎ Update customer pricing and calculate the financial impact on an annual basis.
∎ Manage invoices and reminders.
∎ Interact with company banking and financial partners.
∎ Prepare the payroll and disburse the payment.
∎ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Analyse and implement possible accounting solutions for discrepancies.
∎ Ensure bank payments efficiently.
∎ Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
∎ Display excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
∎ Work in compliance with any and all city, state and federal laws regarding accounting.
∎ Continue education and training in order to maintain mastery of the field.
∎ Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
∎ Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints.
∎ Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and tradespersons (e.g electricians).
∎ Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc.).
∎ Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
∎ Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
∎ Hands-on experience with accounting software like Xero, FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
∎ Experience with general ledger functions.
∎ Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
∎ Efficiency and punctuality in terms of performance.
∎ Fluency in English speaking is preferred.
