∎ Minimum BSc in CSE/CS/IT/ICT/EEE/ECE/ETE/EETE. Or,
∎ Diploma in CSE/CS/IT/ICT/EEE/ETE with extensive work experience in an IT Service Center.
∎ At least 2 years of experience in relevant technical roles.
∎ Prior experience in an IT Service Center is highly preferred but not mandatory.
∎ Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, including PCs, Printers, UPS, Projectors, and other IT-related equipment.
∎ Proficiency in diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques for hardware issues.
∎ Hands-on experience with repairing and maintaining IT hardware and peripherals.
∎ Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS in terms of hardware compatibility and configuration.
∎ Collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle support requests with patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Diagnose and repair hardware issues in PCs, Printers, UPS units, Projectors, IP Telephone, CC Camera, NVR and other IT-related equipment.
∎ Install, configure, and test IT hardware and peripherals.
∎ Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and hardware inventory.
∎ Provide timely support for hardware-related issues raised by faculty, staff, and students.
∎ Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs. Track the condition and usage of IT equipment across the campus.
∎ Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for warranty claims and specialized repairs. Work closely with the IT team to support broader technological initiatives.
∎ Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions, ensuring effective tracking and reporting.
∎ Provide IT related technical support for meetings, seminars, workshops, and other events.
∎ Work closely with other IT team members to ensure cohesive operations and support for various projects.
∎ Provide support for network expansion, including troubleshooting issues related to connectivity and hardware configuration.
∎ Maintenance, and troubleshooting of the IP telephony and turnstile systems for access control.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University Management and respective departments from time to time.
