Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Com/BBA/MBA (Accounting/Finance/Management) from any reputed Public/Private University/Institution.
∎ CA/ACCA/CMA - Part Qualified
∎ ITP (Member of Tax bar is preferred)
∎ Registered VAT consultant (preferred)

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create and implement policy for sustainable reporting structure to ensure requirements of all regulatory authorities like NBR, RJSC etc.
∎ Lead team members to maintain all Mushak books and Challans for every company under the umbrella of the group.
∎ Guide accounts team to deduct VDS & TDS and ensure submission of proper return within stipulated deadline
∎ Maintain liaison with all related officials of NBR to maintain smooth operations.
∎ Analyze and monitor groups' financial activities and suggest management with best professional advice to maintain fairness in the books of accounts.
∎ Help prepare periodic financial statements for all regulatory authorities.
∎ Handle VAT, Tax, and Customs audit conducted by any branch of NBR or other regulatory authorities.
∎ Preserve all documents as per rules.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8 years of experience in related field like accounts/finance, out of which at least 5 years dealing with Tax, VAT and other regulatory authorities on a daily basis.
∎ Sound knowledge of finance and accounts of multiple industries.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Value Added Tax act and rules as well as the income tax ordinance and rules.
∎ Understanding of Customs act 1969 and Supplementary duty act 2012.
∎ Experience on representing the company in legal proceedings of tax/VAT issues.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and maintain a sound relationship with different regulatory authorities and its concerned personnel.
∎ Proactive to provide any suggestion to management regarding regulatory issues.
