Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A minimum educational qualification (HSC or Alimah)
∎ Two years of previous work experience or volunteer experience is essential but not mandatory.
∎ Utilisation and distribution of Jakat Fund to the UltraPoor/Vulnerable People
∎ Background:
∎ Bangladesh is a country that is growing but still faces many challenges. A lot of people here live in poverty and struggle to support their families. Jobs can be hard to find, and many are dealing with difficulties like disabilities or being widowed. This situation is especially tough for people in middle and lower-income families. To help out, some generous people have set up a Jakat Fund. This fund is all about supporting those in need clearly and fairly. But to make sure the right people get help, we need someone to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator/Facilitator. This role involves working in the field to identify people who need this support.
∎ What you will be doing:
∎ 1. Working temporarily initially
∎ 2. Keeping in touch with the people who've set up the Jakat Fund
∎ 3. Carrying out surveys
∎ 4. Identifying those who should receive funds
∎ 5. Visiting these people to understand their needs
∎ 6. Making sure the funds are given out fairly and properly
∎ 7. Keeping clear records of everything
∎ 8. Checking up on people after they have received help
∎ 9. Any other tasks the fund organisers might need.
∎ What you need:
