∎ Experience in infrastructure development projects.
∎ Highly self-motivated with demonstrated ability to be proactive.
∎ Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
∎ Good knowledge of national legislation and policies specifically relevant to land acquisition, resettlement, and labour rights.
∎ Excellent report writing and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a complex, high pressured, and diverse work environment with many deadlines both as a member of a team and autonomously.
∎ Should have proven ability to manage large amount of data and be analytical with attention to detail.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct literature review
∎ Prepare social baseline
∎ Conduct stakeholder consultations (FGD, KII, IDI) and other qualitative sessions
∎ Conduct census, socio-economic and other relevant surveys
∎ Coordinate field data collection, data management and analysis
∎ Report writing
∎ Attend client meetings
∎ Support for Preparation of Expression of Interest (EOI) and Project Proposal (PP) for National and International projects
∎ Communication with International and local consultants/ experts and firms. Willing to participate in frequent field visits.
