Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Daily Desh Rupantor, a leading national Bengali daily newspaper and a sister concern of Rupayan Group, is seeking a dynamic, discreet, and highly organized professional for the position of APS to Chairman.

We're looking for someone with strong expertise in print media operations, secretarial functions, and high-level coordination. This role requires close engagement with senior leadership, strong communication skills, handling confidential matters with integrity, and providing seamless administrative support for the Chairman’s office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Honorable Chairman.

  • Manage daily schedules, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.

  • Draft, review, and manage official correspondence, emails, notes, and reports.

  • Coordinate with editors, senior management, media personnel, and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain confidential files, documents, and sensitive information.

  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.

  • Assist in decision-support tasks by compiling reports and relevant information.

  • Handle phone calls, visitors, and official communications on behalf of the Chairman.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chairman from time to time.
