Job Context
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Outerwear and Knit Marketing & Merchandising team. The ideal candidate must have strong buyer management skills, solid product knowledge, and the capability to manage sourcing, costing, and business growth for international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and acquire new international clients and brands for outerwear and Knit garments. Develop strategic marketing plans to penetrate new markets, brands and expand the existing customer base. Should have proper marketing skills to onboard new brands when there is an opportunity.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing international buyers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Manage 12-month rolling production capacity and available minutes to ensure optimal facility utilization and eliminate low-season gaps.
Oversee the complete merchandising lifecycle from initial sampling and costing through to final shipment and handover.
Secure 100% adherence to T&A plans to ensure all customer delivery requirements are met flawlessly.
Lead high-level negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and volumes, applying expert knowledge in garment costing, fabric composition, and international market prices to maximize profitability and maintain competitiveness.
Mentor and develop a high-performing merchandising and marketing team, ensuring professional growth and robust succession planning.
Conduct regular global market research and competitor analysis to proactively adjust business strategies and service offers.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Washing, and Design units to ensure smooth manufacturing flow and product excellence.
Formulate and implement marketing budgets, sales forecasts, and corporate proposals aligned with company goals.
Provide strategic updates, capacity reports, and executive summaries to the Board of Directors.
