Strong knowledge of poultry & dairy disease management, production systems, and biosecurity principles.

• Train farm managers and employees on poultry & dairy health, biosecurity, animal handling, and food safety practices.

• Participate in research projects aimed at improving poultry & dairy health and production efficiency.

• Develop and monitor flock health programs, including vaccination, biosecurity, and disease prevention protocols.

• Conduct routine farm visits to evaluate bird health, environmental conditions, and flock performance.

• Diagnose and manage infectious and non-infectious diseases through clinical evaluation, diagnostics, and laboratory testing.

• Provide guidance on medication usage, withdrawal times, and antimicrobial stewardship.

• Collaborate with live production teams to optimize flock performance and reduce mortality and morbidity.

• Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and company animal welfare standards.

• Maintain detailed health records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.

• Act as a liaison with external veterinarians, laboratories, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
