Educational Requirements:
∎ A degree/diploma in waste management or similar is often preferred. Other relevant subjects include:
∎ Biological or biochemical sciences
∎ Chemical and physical sciences
∎ Civil, structural or mechanical engineering
∎ Earth sciences
∎ Environmental science
∎ Geography and/or geology
∎ Skills Required: Waste Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Marketing, Waste Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major jobs and responsibilities include but not limited to:-
∎ Oversee overall waste management schemes in all over the Bangladesh
∎ Waste management need Assessment and devised solution for the client
∎ Target oriented and capability of marketing the waste management machinery
∎ Capable to travel all the Pourashova of Bangladesh and major hospital, industry to provide waste management solution.
∎ Assist with the development, promotion and implementation of new waste disposal schemes
∎ Convincing capability to the Government and other officials to take the waste management solution
∎ Ensure compliance with current legislation in the transportation, handling and disposal of waste
∎ Formulate and control budgets for waste management. Collate statistics and compile reports often to strict deadlines
∎ Monitor the quality and performance of waste services, including contract management with service receiver
∎ Devise new tools and technique for waste management
∎ Consult with residents, community groups, councilors, housing associations and traders' associations about waste management issues, identify their requirements and provide appropriate solutions
∎ Develop research projects and contribute to the activities of national groups concerned with waste disposal.
