Responsibilities & Context:
Accurately and efficiently process all cash and non-cash transactions (including bKash, Rocket, cheque, Nexus/debit/credit card) on a daily basis.
Maintain and record petty cash expenses properly with supporting documents.
Verify and reconcile bills/invoices with accounting software and ensure data accuracy.
Oversee manual bill preparation and ensure proper documentation and approval.
Count and verify the closing cash balance at the end of each day and safely place it in the vault.
Deposit opening cash balance into the designated bank account at the beginning of the working day.
Maintain all official financial documents in an organized and secure manner.
Report discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities to the supervisor or accounts department immediately.
