Experience:
Bachelor in Commerce/M. Com in accounting/MBA major in accounting/CA CC.
At least 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounts
Proficiency in using finance management software (TALLY)
Age at most 40 years (age limit can be flexible for women and persons with disabilities)
Ability to work in a team; under time pressure; and long office hour when needed
Have the ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives and implement
Have skills on creative recommendations, organizing work, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and completing assignments with minimal supervision;
Have excellent knowledge on MS Office;
Excellent language skills in both English and Bengali;
Honesty and high level of integrity;
Need to be highly motivated and committed to Access Bangladesh`s vision, mission, and improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized people.

Access Bangladesh Foundation is looking for a qualified, dynamic, motivated and committed employee for its Head Office at A: 25, Anandapur, Savar, Dhaka-1340.
Job Location: Access Bangladesh Foundation Head Office, A: 25, Anandapur, Savar, Dhaka.
Reporting: Finance Manager, Access Bangladesh Foundation
Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting and financial-related activities of the project.
Manage expenses within the approved budget.
Review the budget when necessary.
Facilitate internal and external audits of the project.
Maintain continuous coordination related to financial activities with the Finance Manager of the organization.
Ensure proper record-keeping/ accounting of the project operations.
Ensure quality reporting to donors as per requirements.
Ensure all kinds of payments to vendor(s) as well as staff salary and other expenses.
Ensure deduction of Tax and VAT as per Govt. rules.
Ensure effective and efficient utilization of the fund authorized for the purpose.
Ensure financial bookkeeping of all transactions.
Ensure proper maintenance of financial records of income, expenditure, assets & liabilities of the project.
Ensure that bills and vouchers received from different programs/individuals are in line with the agreed budget.
Verify the appropriateness of documents (bills and vouchers) and required supporting documents.
Ensure that payment through cash and cheque are done according to the financial manual.
Prepare and submit financial forecast to the donor.
Reconciliation of Bank Statement for each month.
Maintain project accounts and produce financial reports accordingly.
Coordinate with the project team to ensure proper planning and budget.
Perform any other duties as instructed by the Finance Manager or Access Bangladesh Management.
Responsible for ensuring that all stock items are procured as per procurement policy and well documented (entered into the relevant register).
Responsible for updating the fixed asset register with the assistance of project support staff and physically verifying the fixed assets as per the fixed asset register on six monthly basis.
Ensure that fixed asset items are appropriately numbered and room-wise updated and displayed.
Maintain personnel files and ensure their safety and confidentiality.
Review and consolidate leave days for all staff and advise all designated authorities on the number of allowable leave days and take necessary actions with regard to payroll calculations.
Ensure the correct process is followed so that the best personnel are hired to fill the open positions during the recruitment process for new Staff.
Orient new staff on their duties and their responsibilities.
Safeguarding
Focuses on self-awareness and behaviour regulation according to organizational policy.
Maintain gender-sensitive and disability-inclusive approach in all stages of the project and safeguarding measures as per the code of conduct;
Ensuring safeguarding and PSEA issues at all levels and taking appropriate measures.
