Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting or Post Graduation in Accounting or Finance from any leading university. CA (CC Preferred).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure on time and appropriate record keeping of all transactions including bank receipts, disbursement, invoices, intercompany transactions, and other transactions.
∎ Check and verify all transactions before entry in the ledger; check money receipt, bill, voucher, daily expenses etc.
∎ Ensure that ledgers and bank statements are reconciled on a regular basis.
∎ Maintain payables reconciliation with suppliers.
∎ Ensure on time liaison with warehouse and commercial team.
∎ Follow-up all notify shipment receipt shortages with any kind of adjustments and notify management before payment to suppliers and vendors.
∎ Periodical report with periodical analytical report to MD.
∎ Operate and maintain computerized accounting system / ERP.
∎ Advise and report all relevant matters to CEO and senior management.
∎ Make timely and correct bookkeeping entries in the respective ledgers.
∎ Prepare and approve requisition summary and disbursement note.
∎ Prepare payment schedule for suppliers and vendors judiciously as per contract and practice.
∎ Perform duties to a high professional and ethical standard and perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Accountant in a Trading Company.
∎ Should have extensive experience as an Accounts Manager / Sr. Accounts Executive in any trading company.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Fluent or advanced English speaking and writing is essential as it is an international operation with suppliers all over the world.
∎ Must be able to commute to our Uttara office and work night shifts Friday 8pm to 5am and Saturdays 9pm to 3am. Sundays are off.
∎ Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Excel to maintain records and transactions and fluent with ERP systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a huge plus point.
∎ Practical knowledge of MS Office, Internet, Email, Outlook etc
∎ Capability to work independently under pressure and multitask
∎ Must have excellent attention to details
∎ Excellent leadership abilities to lead and motivate subordinates
∎ Honest and loyal with strong ethical principles
