Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Manager to oversee our day to day operation, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions. The Accounts Manager will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have experience in managing finances for service-oriented or education-related organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis:·
Develop and manage the company’s annual budget, financial forecasts, and monthly operating reports.
Analyse financial performance, track key metrics, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
2. Budgeting & Cost Management:·
Oversee and control company spending to ensure alignment with budget goals.·
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement financial policies that improve profitability.
3. Accounts Management: ·
Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.·
Monitor cash flow and forecast financial needs to maintain healthy liquidity.·
Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and other financial transactions.·
4. Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.·
Ensure compliance with all tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external consultant and regulatory bodies, providing them with required documentation.·
5. Financial Strategy & Risk Management:
Support the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with company objectives.·
Identify financial risks and implement controls to mitigate them.· Advise on financial strategy for international markets, particularly for managing funds across regions.·
6. Team Management & Collaboration:
Manage and mentor junior finance team members.·
Collaborate with department heads to ensure cohesive financial practices across the organization.
