Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide assistance to the preparation of
∎ reporting packages in quarterly basis.
∎ work in progress (EPC) cost wise breakup.
∎ the fixed asset schedule as per fixed asset register, and presentation in pivot table.
∎ yearly statement of employee tax payment as per section 108 and 108A
∎ from the Income Tax Ordinance 1984
∎ Lead and perform quarterly audit regulatory deadlines.
∎ Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable and payable balances on a monthly basis in the SAP.
∎ Overlook the import and export Letter of Credit (L/C) proceedings and maintain the relevant documents as well as update them in SAP.
∎ Validate the invoices (i.e. checking accuracy, supporting documents with approval) filing original documents received from various vendors, manage Accounts Payable (AP) and maintain AP aging as per the company policy.
∎ Perform the calculation of corporate income tax, Advance Income Tax (AIT) and withholding income tax as per the Income Tax Ordinance 1984 and VAT as per the VAT Act 2012 for all the invoices received and sent.
∎ Prepare the respective challans for both withholding income tax and VAT paid by the company.
∎ Provide assistance for the consultant for the preparation of both monthly and half yearly withholding tax returns
∎ Assist the consultant for the preparation of monthly VAT return.
∎ Draft official letters on behalf of the department
∎ Reports to Accounts Manager
