Recording Transactions:
- Accurate and systematic recording of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
Maintaining General Ledger:
- Managing and updating the general ledger, which summarizes all financial transactions of a business.
Preparing Financial Statements:
- Creating essential financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconciling Accounts:
- Reconciling bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
Financial Analysis and Planning:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and identifying potential risks.
Cost Analysis:
- Analyzing costs, identifying areas for potential cost reduction, and recommending strategies for optimization.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports for management review and decision-making.
- Conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance and Tax Management:
Tax Preparation:
- Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Ensuring Compliance:
- Maintaining financial records and reports in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Advising on Financial Matters:
- Providing guidance to management on financial strategy, accounting processes, and compliance issues.
Other Responsibilities:
Managing Payroll:
- Handling payroll tasks, including calculating salaries, deductions, and ensuring timely payments.
Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments, and managing outstanding debts.
Cost Control:
- Implementing and monitoring cost control measures across different business operations.
Identifying and Mitigating Risks:
- Identifying potential financial risks and recommending strategies to mitigate them.
