Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an Accountant, to build and support our rapidly growing team. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that the company`s record keeping objectives are met under the Finance and Accounts department. In particular, you will be required to performs general accounting and finance functions, including: balance sheet analysis, P&L analysis, budget planning, and report-writing. Strong communication skills, as well as technical, problem-solving and analytical skills, are essential. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

∎ ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
∎ PROFESSIONALISM: Knowledge of booking keeping systems. Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and standards. Ability to apply conceptual, analytical and evaluative skills in accounting operations. Ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identify issues, formulate options and make conclusions and recommendations. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
∎ Reports on daily cash balances and ad hoc reporting
∎ Assist in implementing or improving accounting policies and procedures
∎ VAT and Tax preparation and submission
∎ Present reporting and findings directly to the management
∎ Working closely across all functions within the organisation
∎ Positive attitude, highly motivated, and high energy level
∎ Good interpersonal skills and ability to promote a team environment
∎ Solid problem solving skills using a variety of statistical and root cause tools
∎ Excellent written and oral communication skills
∎ Ensure adherence to company policy and procedures
∎ Ability to handle stressful situations
∎ Excellent organisational skills that promote efficiency and leadership
∎ Ability to correct negative behaviour fairly and consistently
∎ Ability to handle confidential information
∎ Represent the company in the community and promotion of the company's goodwill
∎ Flexible working hours, overtime and travel required
∎ Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
∎ Communicate regular status across top management and production team members
∎ Self-starter that can operate efficiently within ambiguous situations
∎ Strong Microsoft excel skills, and accounting software skills (Zoho Books)
∎ Perform other duties as necessary and required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 2-5 years accounting experience.
∎ Prior knowledge on mobile device and FMCG products will be preferred.
