Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision of solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples' centered organization, ESDO envisioned a society free from inequality and injustice, where no child would cry from hunger and no life would be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted to the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services, especially for the poor and disadvantaged. ESDO has adopted a community-focused and people-centered approach while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 upazilas under 54 districts of Bangladesh, covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ In partnership with Water Aid Bangladesh, ESDO is implementing the GO4IMPact Programme supporting local democratic governance and climate-resilient public service provision in Bangladesh at Naogaon District. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.

∎ • They are ensuring the presence of participants in the training program by visiting their houses regularly.
∎ • We provide necessary support and assistance to the senior officials during project and project staff field visits.
∎ • Gathering materials for capacity-building/training and input of the Pouroshava standing committee members.
∎ • Prepare monthly work plans, monthly reports, case studies, and other necessary documents and submit them to the project lead/Sr. Project officer on time.
∎ • I am updating/Informing the Project Lead/assigned supervisor about the Project activities as needed and asking him/her about necessary information if required.
∎ • Entitlement to do any activity for the organization and the project.
∎ • Responsible for monitoring the achievement of the results set by the project in their area of responsibility.
∎ • Handle administrative paperwork and other documentation needed for project validation and quality control.
∎ • Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders, staff, contractors, and service providers.
∎ • Support in collecting household data/information regularly.
∎ • Maintain an excellent working relationship with local government, development partners, and local volunteers working with the project and other local authorities.
∎ • Support the project team and local partner in implementing relevant climate WASH and resilience project activities.
∎ • Maintain and update implementation plans for the assigned work package. Identify continuous improvements and lessons learned.
∎ • Ensure beneficiaries with whom we work know the safeguarding policy, including the reporting lines when appropriate.
