Job Context

We are looking for a skilled male Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join our team and contribute to our e-commerce platform. In this role, you will be responsible for editing videos to the highest professional standard, ensuring they are engaging and visually appealing. Additionally, you will play a key role in creating motion graphics, generating creative video ideas, and collaborating with our team on video recording and shooting sessions.   

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Edit videos for our e-commerce platform, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards.

• Develop and design motion graphics to enhance video content, including animated text, logo animations, and other visual effects.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts, storyboards, and motion graphic elements for videos.

• Participate in video recording and shooting sessions, providing input on framing, lighting, and other aspects of production.

• Use video editing software to assemble footage, and add special effects, graphics, motion graphics, and sound effects as needed.

• Ensure video and motion graphic content is optimized for various platforms and devices, including social media, website, and mobile.

• Work closely with other team members, including graphic designers, content creators, and marketing specialists, to align video and motion graphic content with overall marketing strategies.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and production techniques.

• Maintain organized file management and backup systems for video and motion graphic assets.   

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a video editor and motion graphics designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing and motion graphics skills.

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects or similar software.

• Knowledge of video recording equipment and techniques, including camera operation and lighting setups.

• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging video ideas, motion graphics, and concepts.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film production, media studies, or a related field preferred.

• Male candidates preferred for this role to align with our specific needs for video production.  

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor`s and Master`s degree with a specialization in Film and Media Studies.

• Skills Required: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects), creative storytelling, video production techniques, attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and communication skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Age not exceeding 28 years old.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Advanced understanding of video editing principles, motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
