Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples` centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 upazilas under 54 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ ESDO in Partnership with Plan International Bangladesh is going to implement Integrated Sponsorship Project in Jaldhaka Upazila under Nilphamari district, ESDO is seeking to hire the qualified, committed and dedicated person according to the following conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible mainly for overall project management and ensure project deliverables in an effective and efficient manner;
∎ Contribute to lead project design/ revision implementation and monitoring through leading the big project team;
∎ Provide administrative and financial support to project team ensuring the compliance;
∎ Develop operational strategic plan, operational modality, supervising and monitoring to team members to ensure quality project implementation;
∎ Ensure Compliance at all levels of the project that includes the organizational, donor and government compliance;
∎ Visit fields and provide necessary guidance the project teams in establishing a culture of reviewing findings from the monitoring visits and initiating actions for qualitative improvements of interventions;
∎ Organize and facilitated trainings, workshops, meetings and other events as per project implementation plan;
∎ Ensure field visit and monitoring by Upazila and district administration and govt. line department officials (DPEO, Civil Surgeon, Deputy Director-Family Planning, Upazila Education Officer, Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer, Youth development Officer, Social Service Officer etc. ) and influence them;
∎ Provide staff management, supervision and capacity building initiatives to project team to enhance team productivity;
∎ Ensure a Gender Equitable, women friendly, safeguarding, sensitive work environment in the project office and program fields;
∎ Coach & mentor implementing staff to improve their programming and analytical skills, which include skills in project planning, management, communication and monitoring activities;
∎ Develop team spirit and cooperative attitudes among supervise staffs;
∎ Liaison different stakeholders;
∎ Attend external meeting, update progress and represent ESDO;
∎ Maintaining liaison with project stakeholders, donors and GoB official, overseeing and ensuring creative monitoring and evaluation process;
∎ Reporting and documentation in timely manner both qualitative and quantitative progress and English writing skills is must.
∎ 60% time allocate for field work to assist in implementation of project activities and 40% desk work for planning, communication and necessary documentation and reporting;
∎ Reviews project staffs work plans and event plan and ensures its proper implementation;

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 year(s) working experience in Education Programme/maternal & child health/sexual reproductive health program.
∎ Skill and strong leadership to guidance and organize management for leading the project team
∎ Having strong communication and interpersonal skill with duty bearers and others relevant stakeholders
∎ Analytical skill for problem solving, forecasting and budgeting and report writing skill
∎ Sincere about time management
∎ Experience on Micro Soft Office package.
∎ Ability to prepare case study,
∎ Able to drive motor cycle with valid driving license
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Have knowledge on safeguarding and Prevention of sexual exploitation, harassment and abuse policy and implementation.

Salary: Tk. 43000 (Monthly)
