Job Context:
∎ Applications are invited for the post of UK University International Regional Manager Based in Dhaka. This is a central role supporting the development and implementation of the University`s Recruitment and Business Development strategy and will include the following.
∎ Working with the International Director and Regional Manager to develop and implement the Marketing and Recruitment Plan for South Asia.
∎ Supporting and overseeing recruitment initiatives of the respective University.
∎ Developing new and supporting existing relationships between the universities and agencies in Bangladesh in support of student recruitment and partnership development
∎ Supporting, expanding, developing and implementing the University`s new brand and profile in Bangladesh and to promote the University, its brand and profile using traditional and digital media
∎ This role will require the candidate to spend considerable time travelling to cities within Bangladesh, the local region and to the University (at least once a year). Therefore, he/she is expected to be flexible to work during weekends and evenings, as required. The post will work closely with various internal stakeholders at the University and more specifically, International Education.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working closely with colleagues at the University's International Office and Career and Employability Centre to support the development and maintenance of relationships supporting the University's Recruitment and Partnership activities in Bangladesh. Specifically:
∎ Use the University's Customer Relation Management (CRM) software and related tools to manage agents, leads and applications and business development (partnership) activities
∎ In partnership with the University, design, monitor and co-ordinate recruitment activities Participate in recruitment fairs and events as and when required and work alongside the Bangladesh Administrative Officer in recruitment activities.
∎ Plan and organize alumni and other profile raising events
∎ Respond to inquiries and requests from the University on a priority basis
∎ Ensure effective marketing and communications activities in order to keep the International Office and the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) at the University aware of knowledge exchange, partnership opportunities/ HE developments/ Government initiatives, etc. in Bangladesh that will be of benefit in terms of recruitment of direct students, knowledge exchange, research collaboration and teaching partnerships
∎ Provide marketing information with appropriate data and market analysis on demand of University courses and potential new courses.
∎ Support visits from University staff, both administrative and academic. Assist with setting up Meetings and advising on possible contacts.

∎ Excellent communications skills (written, oral and presentation) in English.
