Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ Since November 2017, CDD in partnership with CBM is implementing humanitarian response for the Rohingyas and Host Communities in Ukhia, Cox`s Bazar. As per operational strategy 2020-22, the current key activities of the response consist of (1) the provision of multidisciplinary rehabilitation services, (2) running of a Therapy Corner to provide rehabilitation and other related services for the Children with severe impairments, and (3) technical support to mainstream organizations, advocacy with sectors to include persons with disabilities in the humanitarian action

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct training need assessment and write TNA report.
∎ Prepare and coordinate training courses as per annual training plan. Manage, arrange and implement training agenda and training event.
∎ Identify and communicate with interested groups, communities and stake holders.
∎ For in-house and out-reach training courses, ensure timely distribution of invitation, budget approval, attendance, course materials, necessary physical setup etc.
∎ Develop, present and manage emergency management, disaster management, protection, safety and health related training courses.
∎ In coordination with CBM Humantarian Inclusion Advisor and CDD Inclusion Officers, develop new training packages and modules for delivery to humanitarian partners and update existing training materials as needed
∎ Ensure that training sessions are interactive to foster the active participation of participants by developing new activities and facilitation methods for the delivery of training sessions
∎ Ensure that training sessions are inclusive and provide inclusive facilitation techniques to ensure that participants with different learning needs are able to actively participate in the training.
∎ In coordination with CDD's Inclusion Officers, deliver content (across multiple subject lines) at a variety of levels to different audiences via classroom (public, onsite), virtual classroom, and recorded formats.
∎ Mentor CDD's Inclusion Officers to improve inclusive facilitation skills to effectively deliver interactive trainings and provide on-site support to Inclusion Officers to improve their facilitation skills when delivering training sessions
∎ Monitor the effectiveness of trainings through feedback from CBM's Inclusion Advisor and CDD's Inclusion Officers, partner organizations and through pre and post test scoring to continuously improve training sessions
∎ Work closely with the procurement and logistic team and ensure all logistical support to conduct an effective training session.
∎ Support project operations, project management, and other staff, as needed/assigned.
∎ Keep training database up to mark and provide monthly report to program manager.
∎ Conduct Training Evaluation and prepare training completion reports, and presurve necessary documents in appropriate manner.
∎ Engage in self-directed learning on the topic of inclusion and inclusive facilitation to respond to technical demands in the creation/delivery of trainings
∎ With CMB Inclusion Advisor and CDD Inclusion Officers, assist in the development of training packages for new CBM/CDD staff members
∎ Manage staff under their responsibility as necessary

∎ Knowledge of the context in the Cox's Bazar Rohingya and refugee response.
∎ Excellent in time management and has to take on multi-tasks.
∎ Networking, communication, relationship building and negotiation skills.
∎ Understanding of disability

Salary:
∎ Tk. 90000 - 93000 (Monthly)
∎ Pro rata basis festival bonus
