AkijBashir Glass Industries Ltd. is commissioning a new Low-E (Low-Emissivity) coated glass line, with commercial operation planned from December 2026. We are looking for energetic Glass & Ceramic Engineering graduates who will join the line during commissioning, learn the process hands-on alongside the commissioning team, and then take part in running and operating the line.

Job Responsibilities

• Take active part in the installation, commissioning and trial runs of the Low-E glass coating line together with the commissioning/supplier engineers.

• Learn and understand the complete process, equipment, process parameters and control systems of the line during commissioning.

• Operate the line after commissioning and monitor process parameters to ensure stable, safe and efficient production.

• Carry out in-process quality checks of coated glass and report deviations, defects and abnormalities to the supervisor.

• Assist in preparing and updating SOPs, work instructions, checklists and production records.

• Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and routine upkeep of the line.

• Follow all safety, health and environmental rules on the shop floor.

• Work in rotating shifts as required by production.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.

Educational Requirements

B.Sc. in Glass & Ceramic Engineering from a reputed public university.

Experience Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in the glass industry (float, processing or coating) will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Good understanding of glass manufacturing / coating processes.

• Basic computer skills (MS Office); familiarity with PLC/HMI-based machine operation is an advantage.

• Willingness to work in the factory and in rotating shifts.

• Eagerness to learn, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.

• Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
