Company Description

Mariners Group BD is a company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh that specializes in the production and distribution of safe food, nutrition, and agro-based products. The company was established in 2020 with the goal of providing these products to the local population and expanding globally. Mariners Group aims to foster commerce within the mariner community and establish mutually beneficial business relationships.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a TSM in the Food Sector (FMCG) at Mariners Group BD. As a TSM, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to sales. Strong communication skills and ready sales abilities are essential for this role. 

Qualifications

1.     The Territory/Area Sales Manager (TSM/ASM) in Food Sector will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within their designated territory in Dhaka. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, setting sales targets, developing strategic plans to expand customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management:

1.     Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives in Dhaka.

2.     Set sales targets for individual team members and monitor performance against targets.

3.     Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and productivity.

Customer Relationship Management:

1.     Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

2.     Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

3.     Identify new business opportunities and potential customers to expand market reach.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

1.     Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.

2.     Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.

3.     Provide feedback to management on market conditions and competitive activities.

Reporting and Administration:

1.     Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.

2.     Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

3.     Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions using CRM software or other tools.
