Job Responsibilities:
∎ Product Strategy and Planning:
∎ 1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify market needs, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
∎ 2. Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market insights and business goals.
∎ 3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and executives, to define product requirements and priorities.
∎ 4. Develop and maintain a product development plan, including milestones, timelines, and resource allocation.
∎ Team Leadership and Collaboration:
∎ 1. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals.
∎ 2. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ 3. Provide clear guidance and direction to the development team, ensuring alignment with the product vision and objectives.
∎ 4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and seamless coordination.
∎ Product Development and Execution:
∎ 1. Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
∎ 2. Translate product requirements into actionable development plans and technical specifications.
∎ 3. Oversee the software development process, conducting regular reviews, and addressing any challenges or roadblocks.
∎ 4. Implement agile methodologies and best practices to optimize efficiency and deliver high-quality software solutions.
∎ Quality Assurance and Testing:
∎ 1. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop robust testing strategies and ensure software reliability and performance.
∎ 2. Define and monitor key quality metrics, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely issue resolution.
∎ 3. Conduct thorough testing and validation of software products, identifying and addressing any defects or usability issues.
∎ 4. Continuously enhance and optimize the quality assurance process to improve overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
∎ Product Performance and Improvement:
∎ 1. Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
∎ 2. Gather insights from customer feedback, usability testing, and data analysis to drive product improvements.
∎ 3. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement product updates, new features, and enhancements.
∎ 4. Provide regular reports and updates to management, highlighting product performance and suggesting strategic actions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
∎ 2. 7+ years of industry experience in a Product Development Manager or similar role with a record of successfully delivering complex products.
∎ 3. 5+ years of demonstrated ability to work with the Software Engineering team to deliver customer-facing features.
∎ 4. 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing roadmaps, priorities, features, story outlines, writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, changing environment with a variety of stakeholders.
∎ 5. Recent experience in building applications for web and/or mobile.
∎ 6. Ability to read and understand programming languages.
∎ 7. Strong understanding of product development methodologies and software development processes.
∎ 8. Working experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies and relevant project management tools.
∎ 9. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering software products on time and within budget.
∎ 10. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
∎ 11. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and clients.
∎ 12. Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
∎ 13. Passion for product development, technology, and staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
