Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology in Radiology and Imaging
∎ B.Sc/ Diploma in Medical Technology from any organization recognized by state medical faculty of Bangladesh

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Medical Technologist/ Lab Operator
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Diagnostic Centre, Hospital

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assesses requisition for the appropriateness of the procedure
∎ Asks patient to state name and verify name with documents or paper of patient.
∎ Explains the procedure
∎ Performs radiologic procedures as assigned adhering to prescribed techniques. Use Lead Markers on all film
∎ Prepares and administers contrast agents necessary for radiologic examinations of internal organs
∎ Assesses and observes patient for adverse reactions during procedures
∎ Prepares patient for procedures
∎ Explains procedures, assists and transfers patient to table, positions patient's body for accurate images and assists patient at end of procedure
∎ Follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific x-rays, adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage, current and desired exposure time, arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient, adjust lead shields to protect unaffected parts of the patient's body, adjusts cone to direct concentration of rays on specific area and selects proper film.
∎ Observes patient and equipment during procedures and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's condition
∎ Transports patients within department, to and from waiting area as required
∎ Processes images/film in accordance to guidelines and photographic techniques
∎ Performs quality control activities to ensure optimal quality radiographs
∎ Performs mobile x-rays in patient's rooms, emergency room, and operating room
∎ Troubleshoots and reports equipment problems to supervisor
∎ Prepares and maintains radiologic records, files and technical work sheets
∎ Disinfects patient rooms
∎ Follow infection control and safety guidelines &
∎ Any other tasks is assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate will work as full time employee. Cannot work anywhere else as part time basis
∎ Computer skill especially in MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Honest and Hardworking, must complete work on time.
∎ Must be ready to work in shift duty and on call duty.

Salary: Negotiable
