Job Summary

The role is responsible for safely operating the Rod Making Machine and Dryer, ensuring smooth feeding of raw materials, maintaining proper machine cleanliness and lubrication, and keeping accurate production records. This position plays a key part in maintaining continuous production, preventing machine downtime, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards are followed in the furnace and production areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Running the Machine: Operate the Rod Making Machine and Dryer carefully. Turn them on/off following the buttons/switches sequence.
• Loading Material: Manually load or check the feeding of sawdust into the hopper. Make sure it doesn't get blocked.
• Cleaning & Greasing: Clean the machine at the end of the shift. Apply grease/oil to the moving parts (bearings/chains) daily.
• Housekeeping: Sweep the floor and remove dust piles around the Furnace area to prevent fire.
• Paperwork (MoV): Write down the total weight (kg) of briquettes made in the Production Log.
