Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Eight Pass

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform inspections, cleaning and basic service of assigned equipment.
∎ Perform installation, maintenance and repair of water main pumps and valves..
∎ Operate motor vehicles.
∎ Service as an on-call responder
∎ Interpret drawings, maps, and plans
∎ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all pumps and equipment
∎ Maintain pumps facilities
∎ Document and record all maintenance
∎ Document and record monthly well soundings
∎ Perform other duties as required or assigned
∎ Workshop based repair and overhaul of pumps and pumping equipment
∎ Must have experience in a pump servicing role
∎ Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers
∎ Communication effectively in both verbal and written form
∎ Read and understand pumping curves and performance standards
∎ Electrical control and variable frequency drives

Additional Requirements:
∎ General knowledge of pump and associated pumping equipment.
∎ Have a good technical competence.
∎ Pro-active approach to work.
∎ Willingness to undertake additional training when necessary.
∎ Ability to work effectively as part of a team or an individual.
∎ Self-directed and able to work without supervision
∎ Energetic and eager to tackle issues, problems and idea
∎ Creativity and commercial awareness
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skill
∎ Prerequisite:
∎ Positive attitude and good communication skills.
∎ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
∎ Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
∎ Have a good eye for detail.
∎ Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.
∎ Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
∎ Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.
∎ Good judgment and decision-making skills.
