Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Service/maintenance and installation in many sectors of the industry, domestic and commercial, such as pressure boosting and underground pump stations.
∎ Carry out commissioning of new installations.
∎ Booster sets, pressurization units, sewage and storm water stations.
∎ Pump overhaul and repairs to all major manufacturers' units.
∎ Carrying out service work on sewage stations, storm water, booster sets, pressurisation units, pump
∎ Overhauling, Installation and Commissioning of all the above.
∎ Workshop based repair and overhaul of pumps and pumping equipment.
∎ Customer liaison and dealing with client queries.
∎ Installation and commissioning of booster set, pressurisation and submersible pump package stations.
∎ Must have experience in a Pump Servicing role
∎ Knowledge of packaged pumping systems, macerators and all related waste water products
∎ Be a team player and have an approachable personality
∎ Must be able to think on own imitative and be keen to progress in your career
∎ Developing marketing strategies and tactics to boost the company's reputation
∎ Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
∎ Managing and interpreting Clients requirements
∎ Initiate and control surveys to assess Clients requirements and dedication
Additional Requirements:
∎ General knowledge of pump and associated pumping equipment.
∎ Have a good mechanical and electrical competence.
∎ Pro-active approach to work.
∎ Willingness to undertake additional training when necessary.
∎ Ability to work effectively as part of a team or an individual.
∎ Self-directed and able to work without supervision
∎ Energetic and eager to tackle issues, problems and idea
∎ Creativity and commercial awareness
∎ A team player with a customer-oriented approach
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
