Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS from reputed educational institution
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform physical examination, initial screening, if necessary, rapid antigen tests for COVID-19
∎ Responsible for providing adequate treatment to the mild to moderate COVID-19 patient as advised.
∎ Continually monitor and review patient progress
∎ Follow the referral system for severe COVID-19 patients
∎ Ensure the necessary cross referrals and communicate the opinion of other specialists in the Upazila Health Complex
∎ Closely work with the technical specialist and ensure program objective
∎ To check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions and do fresh orders.
∎ Coordinate treatment plan with primary consultants and referral consultants
∎ Follow hospital practices and demonstrate initiative aligned to ensuring the safest possible environment for patients and staff.
∎ To attend all clinical meetings, CME and workshops and actively participate in paper presentations.
∎ To be part of training program conducted in the hospital and to take continuous initiatives for knowledge and skill up gradation.
∎ Provide technical assistance to the data analyst to ensure appropriate entry of patient history
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Minimum 3 years professional experience working in community hospitals
∎ Hands on experience dealing with covid patients
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges
∎ Ability to travel within Bangladesh at a short notice
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply
