- 8 years of professional experience in urban planning, zoning, or design policies, climate change, urban development, sustainability, or SDG 11 or 13-related work
Responsibilities & Context:
Support the Team Leader in achieving project goals.
Provide technical expertise in urban planning, zoning, or design policies and implement project tasks with climate resilience goals.
Organizing, facilitating, and moderating events and workshops.
Conduct field assessments, feasibility studies, and stakeholder consultations to ensure alignment with needs and regulations.
Ensure compliance with environmental, social, and safety standards throughout the implementation process.
Support maintenance planning and capacity development of stakeholders to ensure the long-term sustainability of implemented measures.
Design, prepare and render planning documents (e.g. spatial plans).
Provide thematic expertise on urban development climate resilience.
