Job Responsibilities:
∎ Greeting and seating customers.
∎ Taking orders and advising on menu choices.
∎ Setting up tables with the correct cutlery.
∎ Preparing drink and cake orders.
∎ Running food and drink orders to the table.
∎ Be attentive and walk through your tables checking if customers need assistance.
∎ Taking payments.
∎ Clearing tables.
∎ General housekeeping duties.
∎ Delivering excellent standards of customer service at all times by listening, understanding and dealing with customer queries in a confident, professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner.
∎ Maintaining good menu knowledge in order that accurate advice can be given to customers.
∎ Ensuring personal cleanliness is to a high standard at all times.
∎ Adhering to safety requirements.
∎ Passing customer feedback to management.
∎ Escalate customer complaints to shift manager where needed.
∎ Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses.
∎ Other duties as required within the department and wider store as required.
