Job Context:
∎ We are seeking highly motivated and experienced School Teachers to join our team of educators at our school. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and developing Edexcel curriculum for school students. The ideal candidates will have experience in teaching primary and secondary students and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
∎ We are also seeking an experienced and qualified Quran Hifz teacher to join Reverie School located in Bashundhara RA. We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic teacher, primarily dedicated to nurturing children in the memorization of the Quran and supervising the Tajweed Program. The full time position will involve teaching a group of students who have excelled academically and are working towards memorizing the Quran.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Delivering lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the Edexcel Curriculum for primary and secondary school students.
∎ Planning and implementing effective teaching strategies, techniques, and resources to facilitate student learning and achievement.
∎ Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to students, parents and colleagues to support the learning process.
∎ Maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance.
∎ Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
∎ Communicating regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and to encourage parental involvement in their child's education.
∎ Participating in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
∎ Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in education and the Edexcel Curriculum.
∎ For Hifz & Arabic Teachers: Prepare course long range plan, Hifz plans and homework materials
∎ Conduct Hifz classes in early morning.
∎ Take Islamic Studies and Arabic classes for general students of the school
∎ Able to adapt the Hifz course plan to each student's ability and potential
∎ Focus on Quran Hifz and Tajweed and be able to work one on one with each student
∎ Pronunciation (Tajweed): Explain new Tajweed concept in theory.
∎ Implement the Tajweed theory
∎ Able to translate meanings of an Ayat (Tafseer) in general
∎ Able to teach lessons on Aqeedah, basic fiqh, Islamic stories etc.
∎ Follow a process for formal and informal ongoing assessment of students, including report cards, progress reports and marking. Feedback to be provided to parents and school's designated administrator.
∎ Integrate "tarbiyah" of students such as, social responsibility, kindness and other Islamic teachings / values into daily routines
∎ Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day
∎ Discuss students' progress and concerns with parents and administrators
∎ Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ We need teachers with professional teacher's training and work experience in Edexcel curriculum for English, Math, Science, Computer Science for Grades 1-6.
∎ Good understanding of the Edexcel curriculum to help and develop the student's lesson plan throughout the year.
Salary: Tk. 15000 - 25000 (Monthly)
