Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s abilities and goals.
∎ Use differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate a variety of learning styles and disabilities.
∎ Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction in core subjects and life skills.
∎ Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adapting instruction as needed.
∎ Collaborate with parents, therapists, counselors, and other school staff to support student development.Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.
∎ Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and attendance.
∎ Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in ongoing professional development.
