Key Responsibilities – Mathematics & English Teacher (Up to Class 7)

Conduct Mathematics and English classes up to Class 7 in accordance with the school's syllabus, curriculum, and academic guidelines.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons using effective and interactive teaching methodologies.

Develop students' numeracy, literacy, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through creative and activity-based learning.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials aligned with the curriculum.

Assess and evaluate students' classwork, assignments, projects, presentations, and written work, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Prepare soft copies of question papers, mark schemes, mark sheets, and report cards with accuracy and confidentiality.

Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress, grades, attendance, and performance.

Identify and support students requiring additional academic assistance or enrichment to achieve their learning goals.

Perform all academic responsibilities related to examinations, invigilation, result preparation, Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), and other duties assigned by the school authority.

Create a positive, safe, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, active participation, and a love for learning.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall well-being.

Participate actively in school events, co-curricular activities, meetings, professional development programmes, and other institutional initiatives.

Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the school authority in the best interest of the institution
