Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples` centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 283 upazilas under 49 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ ESDO in partnership with EDUCO is going to implement the ` Options for Dignity of Human being by Influencing Key Actors to Reform (ODHIKAR), Phase-02 project in Mohammadpur and Hazaribag, Dhaka.
∎ Project Duration:30 Months
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly conduct the class in learning centre.
∎ Planning and implementation the daily class routine.
∎ Facilitate the child friendly education for working children.
∎ 100% ensure the presence of children in learning centre.
∎ Make an easy lesson for working children.
∎ Regularly maintain the presence sheet of the students.
∎ Regularly report to the project officer and coordinator.
∎ To prepare subject wise worksheet
∎ To prepare question paper of Term Test
∎ To monitor students closely and prepare Monthly Report on student's performance into the authority of the project.
∎ To prepare students for different types of events and cultural program
∎ To prepare Lesson Plan for story telling class, Rhymes class
∎ To participate in club activity, cultural program and other events
∎ To prepare class material, resources, teaching aids, charts, home visit, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2-years relevant experiences in teaching sector;
∎ Reporting and documentation of the respective persons.
∎ Good at computer applications of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using e-mail.
∎ Excellent skills in both English and Bangla in reading, writing and speaking.
Salary: Tk. 13000 (Monthly)
