Previous work in a School, Sports club, or Swimming academy is preferable.
Good command of English for teaching.
Experience with the IB curriculum is a plus.
At least 3 to 5 years of teaching experience.
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities & Context:
- Conduct age-appropriate swimming lessons for students following the school’s physical education curriculum.
- Teach water safety, basic swimming skills, and progressive stroke development in a structured and engaging manner.
- Ensure continuous supervision of students and maintain a safe learning environment in and around the pool.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with school standards and objectives.
- Assess students’ swimming abilities and provide regular feedback to PE Coordinator and parents when required.
- Maintain accurate attendance, progress records, and incident reports.
- Inspect pool facilities daily and immediately report any safety or maintenance issues.
- Support school sports events, swimming competitions, and extracurricular activities related to aquatics.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school administration to ensure smooth execution of swimming programs.
- Uphold school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and hygiene standards at all times.
