∎ To be successful in this role, you bring experience working on social and environmental assessment and improvement in manufacturing facilities, working with management at all levels to achieve results. Job Responsibilities:
∎ You will directly report to the Sustainability Manager and General Manager of Compliance.
∎ You will work with the environmental specialist and compliance manager and compliance audit team to collaborate on project delivery and support current work.
∎ You will oversee social and environmental projects from start to finish, finding ways to overcome challenges and regularly reporting on progress.
∎ You will support sustainability reporting by gathering, analysing, and communicating data.
∎ You will support the Simple Approach team and supply chain partners in using various measurement tools and information management systems such as the Simple Approach PLM, Higg FEM and FSLM, SEDEX, Reverse Resources, Clean Chain etc.
∎ You will work to identify the team’s training needs and work with the leadership team in the development and delivery of sustainability training programs.
∎ You will coordinate and collaborate with other internal teams by being the point of contact and project lead for a range of sustainability projects.
∎ Secure and leverage senior level commitment and support for integrating sustainable development into core processes and decision-making.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in related discipline, preferably with social or/and environmental science background.
∎ An innovative, forward thinker who enjoys problem solving and initiating new projects.
∎ Proven experience working on social and environmental projects with garment manufacturers with over 5 years working experience.
∎ Proven experience working with management to implement social and environmental projects.
∎ Proven experience working on data driven reporting.
∎ Knowledge of social and environmental compliance requirements and regulations relating to the apparel industry in Bangladesh and internationally.
∎ Fluent in written and spoken Bengali.
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English.
∎ Excellent organizational skills.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft teams, and google suite.
∎ Knowledge of Higg FEM/FSLM, SEDEX, Clean Chain and other measurement and reporting platforms is a plus.
