Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum HSC from Science Group. Candidates having Diploma on any course of paramedics will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the physician of health and wellness center in first aid treatment and other form of pre-hospital emergency care to the students and staffs who are injured.
∎ Assist the physician during routine medical consultation and physical examination of female students and staffs
∎ Operate equipment such as Oxygen cylinder, bag valve mask resuscitators, nebulizer, Inhaler for the emergency patients.
∎ Assess patients’ injury severity and type, quickly inform the physician and begin appropriate medical procedures as soon as possible.
∎ Assess, record and discuss patient information, injuries and condition with the physician, including any treatments provided and reactions to treatments or drugs.
∎ Clean and decontaminate the dressing area and observation room after dressing has been done or treating any patient with infectious disease. Report infectious disease to physician.
∎ Administer drugs as appropriate and necessary via injection, intravenous procedures or oral administration under the direction of a physician.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with emergency rescue team members as needed to ensure that all applicable personnel are prepared to receive the patient and ensure proper treatment.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the resident physician of health and wellness center of the University
