Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Masters in Supply Chain Management, social sciences, Business Administration, Public Health or any relevant discipline will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work with Ministry of Health, USAID, Global Fund and other partners to quantify need for the project, and finalize distribution plan for rapid antigen test kits and medications
∎ Work closely with MOH&FW, including Directorate General of Health Services, other related directorates and health facilities to facilitate transfer of medications, kits and other supplies from the central level to the districts, health facilities and communities
∎ Set up a logistics management information systems (MIS) to track shipments, monthly utilization, forecast, stock out, and expiry date of kits and medications
∎ Collaborate with the MIS team to prepare a simple visual dashboard showing logistics information
∎ Work with DGHS mechanisms to prevent stockout at facility level
∎ Take on other work responsibilities from time to time as required for program implementation
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3-5 years professional experience managing supply chain in development projects
∎ Pharmaceuticals management experience preferred
∎ USAID project experience preferred
∎ Familiarity with public sector, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
∎ Good oral and written communication skills
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges
∎
