∎ As a Subject Matter Expert for Informal Apprenticeship, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to support the development and implementation of informal apprenticeship programs. Your primary focus will be to design and deliver training programs for informal apprenticeship trainers and mentors, and to develop apprenticeship curricula and materials. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of apprenticeship programs and identifying areas for improvement.
∎ As partnership with UNICEF, ESDO will implement the Empowering the most disadvantaged adolescent girls and young women through eco system based Alternative Leaning Programme (ALP) for market-driven transferable skills project at Sherpur, Jamalpur, Satkhira, Barisal, Gazipur and Bhola district. ESDO is inviting applications from interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Required Trade: IT Freelancing/ Handicraft/ Industrial Sewing Machine Operation/ Mobile Phone Servicing/ Electrical Installation and Maintenance/IT Support service.
∎ The project duration total 36 months from the joining date.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement apprenticeship training programs for trainers and mentors
∎ Design apprenticeship curricula and materials, including training manuals, assessment tools, and learning resources
∎ Provide technical assistance and guidance to program staff and partners in the development and implementation of apprenticeship programs
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to identify job opportunities for apprentices and ensure that apprenticeship programs align with industry needs
∎ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of apprenticeship programs and identify areas for improvement
∎ Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of apprenticeship programs and policies
∎ Provide regular progress reports to program leadership and funders
∎ Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops to promote the development of apprenticeship programs and policies
∎ Any other tasks assigned by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Highly experience candidates age will be flexible
∎ Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in the context of informal apprenticeship
∎ In-depth knowledge of informal apprenticeship programs, including best practices, policies, and regulatory frameworks
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with industry partners, program staff, and stakeholders
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other training and development software
∎ Willingness to travel as needed to program sites and industry partner locations
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
