∎ Certified courses in learning disabilities/ career counseling.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Job Context:
∎ Providing academic, career, college access/affordability/admission, and social-emotional competencies to all students through a school counseling program.
∎ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
∎ Facilitating career development.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Help students understand and overcome social or behavioral problems through individual and group counseling;
∎ Provide individual and small group counseling based on student needs;
∎ Work with students to develop skills such as organization, time management, and effective study habits;
∎ Evaluate students' abilities and interests through aptitude assessments and interviews;
∎ Develop strategies with teachers, administrators, and parents to help students succeed;
∎ Teach classes on topics such as bullying, drug abuse, and planning for college or careers after graduation;
∎ Identify and report possible cases of neglect or abuse;
∎ listen and understand student's concerns about academic, emotional and social problems;
∎ Mediate issues between teachers and students;
∎ improve parent, teacher and student relationships;
∎ Provide referrals, recommendations, and education to parents about mental health concerns;
∎ Help coping with school or community-related violence, accidents, and trauma;
∎ Identify interests, strengths, and aptitudes through assessment;
∎ Refer students and parents to resources outside the school for additional support;
∎ Other tasks as assigned by the AusIS Administration
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Practical experience in the school students covering age 10-20 years;
∎ 'O' level and 'A' level will be given extra credit;
∎ Having IB curriculum training and experience will be given high preference;
∎ Diploma in Education will be given preference;
∎ Foreigners will be given preference;
∎ Teaching experience in International English Medium School will be given priority;
∎ IELTS with Band score 7.00 will be added as an extra value;
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ On completion of successful probation, the incumbent will be provided with leave as per policy.
