Responsibilities & Context:
  • Provide accurate, updated and comprehensive information about study opportunities in Australia, including universities, colleges, courses, tuition fees, scholarships and visa requirements.

  • Assess students’ academic qualifications, career goals, financial situation and language proficiency to recommend the most appropriate education options.

  • Manage the end-to-end admission process — from initial counseling and documentation to application submission and confirmation of enrollment.

  • Guide students in preparing visa documentation for Subclass 500 (with/without dependants) and coordinate with the internal visa team to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.

  • Support students with Australian student visa documentation, ensuring compliance with current immigration policies and liaise with the internal visa team for timely submissions.

  • Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions both in-person and virtually, maintaining a professional, supportive approach.

  • Stay informed about changes in Australian education regulations, visa rules and institutional policies and share relevant updates with students and team members.

  • Participate in student recruitment events such as seminars, education fairs, webinars and promotional campaigns as a key representative of the Australia desk.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, embassies and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Maintain detailed records of student interactions, application progress and outcomes using CRM system.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to exchange insights, achieve team objectives and continuously improve the student journey.  

  • Oversee and manage the submission of Australian university admission applications and Australian student visa applications, including verifying all application materials for accuracy, completeness, eligibility and compliance with institutional and visa requirements.

  • Ensure all required documents—such as academic certificates, transcripts, SOPs, employment references, financial documents and professional certifications—are properly collected, assessed and submitted in the correct format as per Australian university and DHA standards.

  • Demonstrate strong and clear understanding of the Australian Genuine Student (GS) requirement, including: Identifying and advising students on mandatory GS-supporting documents, Assessing academic background, study gaps, employment history and career progression for GS eligibility, Preparing students for GS document clearance, ensuring logical, evidence-based alignment between past studies, proposed course, institution and future career outcomes

  • Ability to create tailored, well-researched SOPs aligned with GS criteria, clearly justifying: Course relevance, Institution selection, Career outcomes in home country, Academic progression and study gap explanations

  • Possess strong knowledge of Australian university admission policies, including: Acceptance and non-acceptance of Bangladesh public/private universities (Section 1/2/3/4 variations), Institution-specific entry requirements, Restrictions related to study gaps, prior refusals, diploma pathways and academic inconsistencies, Awareness that some Australian universities do not accept refusal cases or certain academic backgrounds.
