Job Context
Central University of Science & Technology (CUST) invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and motivated candidates for the positions of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). The university is committed to maintaining high academic standards in compliance with UGC (University Grants Commission of Bangladesh) requirements and promoting excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and assessments in undergraduate programs.

• Conduct practical/laboratory sessions (for CSE) and case-based teaching (for BBA).

• Apply innovative teaching methodologies and modern technologies in classroom delivery.

• Provide academic advising, mentoring, and career guidance to students.

• Engage in research activities, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.

• Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and institutional initiatives.

• Contribute to curriculum development, program design, and quality assurance activities.

• Maintain proper academic records and documentation in compliance with UGC requirements.

• Support accreditation processes and ensure adherence to national and international academic standards.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the authority.

Educational Requirements
For Department of Business Administration:

• MBA and BBA from a recognized university.

• Minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) or equivalent in both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels as per UGC requirements.

• Major/Concentration in Management, Accounting.

For Computer Science & Engineering (CSE):

• MSc and BSc in CSE or related discipline from a recognized university.

• Minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4.00) or equivalent in both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels as per UGC requirements.

• Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Programming & Software Development

  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

  • Data Science / Big Data

  • Cybersecurity

  • Cloud Computing

  • Internet of Things (IoT)

Additional Requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Candidates with teaching experience and research at university level will be given preference.

• Strong commitment to academic integrity and continuous professional development.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary academic environment.

• Publication(s) in reputed journal will be treated as additional qualification.
