Responsibilities & Context:
1. Patient Care & Monitoring
Assess patients’ conditions and record vital signs.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, and mobility.
Monitor and report changes in patients’ health to doctors.
2. Clinical Procedures
Prepare patients for surgeries, tests, or examinations.
Dress wounds and manage intravenous lines.
Operate medical equipment as required.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
Prepare and submit daily nursing reports.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical standards.
4. Communication & Coordination
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and health management.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
5. Infection Control & Safety
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Follow proper sterilization and hygiene protocols.
Manage medical waste according to safety guidelines.
