Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing, recognised by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).

Job Context:
∎ Skilled, professional and experienced Staff Nurse for ICU, NICU, Emergency.
∎ Function : Nursing.
∎ Location : Bangabandhu Memorial Hospital (BBMH), Foy`s Lake, Khulshi, Chattogram.
∎ Office timing : Roster duty.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be aware of and understand the nursing policies and procedures of the hospital, and ensure that they are adhered to.
∎ To ensure that nursing care plans are written and up to date.
∎ To always take care of the patient's individual needs. To ensure that the nursing section of the patient's progress notes is maintained and that each entry reflects accurately the patient's physical/mental state and response to treatments.
∎ To maintain ward records. To ensure proper use of all hospital equipment, maintaining economical use and reporting all equipment malfunctions.
∎ To check all equipment for normal function on daily basis. To ensure continuity of care by communicating and reporting all patient care plans and activities to appropriate personnel.
∎ To report to the head nurse or charge nurse. To identify patient's needs. To plan and implement care accordingly. To evaluate goals and objectives of care plans. To attend and participate in all meetings as required.
∎ To develop interpersonal and communication skills with patients. To ensure comfort and safety of patients at all times. To ensure custody of patient belongings according to hospital policy. To ensure protection of patient confidentiality and security of patient's files at all times.
∎ To maintain maximum observation and accurate written reports on all patients under special observation.
∎ To act always to promote and safeguard the well-being and interest of patients.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Skills in organizing, directing and supervising nursing personnel on respective work area.
∎ Technical competencies : Basic computer skills. Good technical knowledge and skills on specialty/area-wise medical equipment and machines.
∎ Behavioural competencies : Discipline, Commitment, Team Player, Dynamic.
∎ Valid registration and licence from Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC).
∎ Ability to effectively apply knowledge on clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, administering medication, phlebotomy, maintenance etc.
