Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager (AGM) to perform effective financial management of our company and plan and implement the financial policy. We are encouraging those applicants who are experienced in costing, budgeting and other all accounts & financial activities.
∎ Workplace: Head Office, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise accounting cycle in accordance with GAAP to include preparation and appropriate documentation of journal entries, payment requests, and general ledger reconciliations.
∎ Responsible for planning and control, cost management and financial feasibility analysis, internal audit and external audit, finance and accounting as well as providing accurate financial reports to the Managing Director
∎ Accountable for the overall management of internal finance, audit, and accounting.
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of ERP system to meet the requirement of the management of the company.
∎ Supervise fixed assets, inventories, receivable, payable and general accounting functions.
∎ To ensure all payments to the suppliers made with proper authorized documents with due compliance with all regulatory requirements including TAX and VAT.
∎ Maintain all ledgers, bank reconciliation, salary sheets & etc.
∎ Work with external auditors, financial institutions, and consultants to coordinate audits, tax/legal compliance, etc. & RJSC for company matter.
∎ Provide periodic financial reports/records, designing and preparing a set of comprehensive budget and budgetary control systems.
∎ Supervise departmental staffs and maintain liaison with other colleagues.
∎ Ensure managing office accounts efficiently.
∎ Managing the companies’ VAT compliance process as per VAT Act.
∎ Develop and implement VAT strategy to avoid regulatory risk and time to time update & provide guidance to management of the company.
∎ Preparation & deposit of withholding VAT, time to time reporting as required.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records in respect of Taxation & Value Added Tax related issues.
∎ Must have good knowledge about TDS, VDS procedures & Vat & Tax return submissions.
∎ Maintain strong liaison with Production/Supply Chain/ Accounts & Finance department & keep up to date all VAT related register and online data.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-10 years relevant experience
∎ The applicants should have experience in the Manufacturing Organization.
∎ Have ability to work for extended hours (If necessary).
∎ Conversant with both the International and Bangladesh Standards on accounting.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ After 6 months’ probation period salary will be reviewed as per organization policy.
